While the Southern US in the antebellum years did have plantations, they were not unique to the US. Throughout Spanish and Portuguese colonies the Hacienda system was practiced giving a few wealthy families privilege to the point where they were above the law while the vast majority of the population suffered in near slavery. Other European nations practiced things like this with nobility having privilege too.

So, it's much the same with elitists like Pelosi. She arrogantly thinks she's above the law simply because she's gotten away with that for decades.

Yeah, slavery was the norm for most of history. I don't know why Conservatives are still so obsessed with blaming people for it. I guess it's a freudian thing, since they want to bring it back so badly.

Ultimately, segregation is and always has been the platform of White Libs. The Dem narrative today, is that Blacks and Whites can not live and work together ... because the white race is evil.

Rightys are desperate and crazed. Pelosi committed the crime of getting her hair done by a beautician she frequents. There was no danger. Pelosi gets checked regularly for Corona. The hairdresser wore a mask. The shop is permitted to deal with one customer at a time. Everything was according to the law and regulations. This was a nothing story.
