Pfizer and Moderna are ~95% effective. That means of every 100 ppl vaxxed, five may not be totally protected. Masks are worn for them, and for those who cannot get vaxxed for medical reasons, and because *some* of us give a shit about others. We understand that you anti-vaxxers are selfish morons, but we still let you get on planes and go to concerts and otherwise spread your cooties.

They stopped before that. I didn't have one until I joined the Navy. (A smallpox vaccine that is).

Thanks. What year was that? My oldest kid was born in '75; he did not get one. I had to look it up on google; that said they quit giving them in the U.S. in 1972. The disease was declared eradicated in 1980 per wikipedia.

Masks are stupid. Republicans are smart like anything. Damn, why do people wear masks? I mean, like for century when they were no
good for anything at all. It took Trump to teach us all about the dumbness of masks and how smart it is to sneeze in the face of someone when sick.
A direct hit is much more safe then an attenuated one.

One of our resident dickheads said today that masks deprive children of oxygen and damage their brains. I'm so glad we've made so much intellectual and scientific progress since the Spanish flu. :rolleyes:

masks are dangerous... when you wear a mask CO2 builds up in your blood stream... that is NOT good for your health
