Mississippi teen killed in Bourbon Street attack was 'sweet' and loving, mom says

Family confirmed that 18-year-old Nikyra Cheyenne Dedeaux, of Gulfport, Miss., was one of the victims killed in the Bourbon Street attack.

Some of the victims of the French Quarter terror attack have been identified.

According to posts on X, the first victims identified were 18-year-old college student Nikyra Dedeaux from Mississippi and 37-year-old Reggie Hunter, a father of two from Louisiana.

Additionally, Tiger Bech from Lafayette was confirmed as another fatality in the attack.
