IT was a very funny ad, not even close to what the Greens want. Looks more like taking the "war on drugs" and overlaying it onto enviromentalism.

I know the meaning, I dont see how it fits in this situation....
 
Hey SouthernMan.... Ive made some progress on the pump, but Ive run into a new roadblock.

I got the thing to prime... Great water pressure, it squirts like a 19 year old jerking off to a photo of Pamela Anderson....

The min I plug the pump up and the pressure should be going out the pipe to the sprinkler heads, the pressure builds up, the water sputters out for a sec, then the pump looses its prime. As long as I open the bypass valve.... the water will squirt out all day.

That depends if its Pamela as a 30-something or now....

Interesting, good flow out the bypass means the foot valve is not clogged up. Cavitation at the pump is more likely to occur with the bypass open and pressure is lower at the pump relative to atmospheric. Raising the pressure by forcing the discharge out sprinklers will slow down the flow and increase pressure in the suction end... None which makes sense to have the pump lose prime.

I'll have to think about this one on my way up to the mountains tonight. Please remind me in the morning by resurrecting that pump thread.
