In general, the Obama years are seen as the best of the 2000's. He inherited one of the worst crashes in decades. He acted fast and passed a stimulus package that many on the right said would lead us into depression - but it did the opposite, and sparked a recovery that lasted through the Trump years.

If we don't face the truth, we are destined to repeat the mistakes. When the corporate owned Dems abandoned their FDR roots, they screwed everyone over. We wound up with a Trump because the Dems sold out. Obama never held even one bankster accountable for the 2008 Wall Street debacle or anyone in the previous administration for their war crimes.
