The great blizzards of 2026

Whats so disgusting about roofs is you have to go thru all the work getting it off the roof,.......THEN climb down and get it all out of the way of any walks and entries! And its like 3 feet or more high from all the snow up there! Heart attack city! LOL
You need a steeper pitch.

You need a steeper pitch.
Now a days they make all kinds of new systems. Snow RAKES that work pretty good. Then they have the snow tarps that can work really good. its slides under the snow and slices it right off!

Me,...I just hire a kid,...then I don't have e to do any of it! LOL If you can find one that's not totally spoiled LAZY that is!

Well right now we are being set up for another blizzard of 1977.
Lake Erie has frozen over something like 95% so there is hundreds of sq. miles of snow just sitting out there ready to be blown in and fuck things up again . we really don't need the wind to come and blow all of it on shore.
Don't need snow drifts so high you have to dig down 3 or 4 feet to see the tops of the telephone polls like it was back then.
It could be fun times again.

I tell you what REALLY sucks. So,...lets say we get a good load of snow in,....anything over 8/9 inches or so. then it warms up the next day and starts melting some. If you didn't have time to get right out there and get that snow out........you are screwed. Now you have a ton of snow and its mixed with water which makes it heavy as all hell. You go to blow it and the snowblower can only throw it out the side a couple feet or so. THAT...........is a big problem. In normal snow mine throws it like 12- 15 feet,....but not wet snow. means you are going to have to keep going over and over it or shovel a lot yourself.

I hope not for your sake. No fun at all. You should make plans with some YOUNGER family or friends to get some help if you need it ahead of time. always better to prepare.

This Snow SCOOP is what we used for roofs when I was a kid,...that and regular snow shovels for certain parts. Big thing,....never go all the way down to the shingles.........you can rip em up and their roof will leak. Leave a good inch of snow on top.

Lastly,.........always have plenty enuff Ice cold Pabst for later when you are done. Your gonna NEED IT.... :ROFLMAO:

Its 5 below here this morning , which ain't shit,...I wash my balls in that...LOL Two weeks ago we had -37 in real temp and with wind-chill we had -52. Were leaving in a couple weeks to go back to the warm country again.........wish it was sooner. I've had to go back and forth because of work obligations this year....which sucks,....but what do you do. we drive it in two days though so not bad. One long day.....say 12 hours,....and we stay about an hour or so south of Paducah Kentucky,.... then drive the rest the next day and get there around 1 in the afternoon.

True story.

I was driving down the road and noticed a dead armadillo laying on its back on the road which is a very common sight on Texas highways. About an hour later I passed by and someone had tucked a Lone Star beer bottle under its foreleg. Only in Texas
