The GOP's latest attempt at repealing the ACA fails,

Huh? How can any provider charge the total deductible for every visit?

You don't under how insurance works.

I hate Obamacare but there is no need to make up outright lies to take it apart. There are valid problems with merit but this is fiction.

If you have two lungs they operate on one at a time. Two separate operations, two hospital visits and two deductibles. And furthermore idiot, 12,000 dollars is three times the life savings for half of the people on Obamacare, for the other half it is 100 times their life savings. You are throwing around a 12,000 deductible number like it's nothing. Seriously you are a schitzo

You ever fucking consider that asswipe

If you have a $500,000 hospital bill and you're only on the hook for $12,000, you're doing pretty damn good. I'd rather have a $12,000 deductible than no insurance at all.

Meanwhile, you're on the hook for $12k AND still paying your $4k/yr premium which, since your claim, has now doubled to $8k/yr.

So you're paying the hospital back to the tune of a couple of thousand a year plus your insurance premium of eight thousand a year.

How many people do you know who have an extra $10k/yr laying around?

$4k a year in premiums is $333/month.

If you have a $12,000 hospital bill, you don't have to pay that much. In fact, you can pay whatever you can each month -- even $10 or $$20, as long as you make an attempt to pay.

A lot of people on Obamacare don't even pay $300 a month. Some of them pay zero or very little.

You are one dumb motherfucker.

A deductible/out-of-pocket max is the total you pay for ONE CALENDAR YEAR. You cannot be charged for more than that in one year. Once that amount is met, everything afterward is FREE until the year ends and it starts over.

Please do not engage me with your ignorant, dumb ass shit. You are dumber than dirt.

He sure doesn't understand insurance, or is confused with terms.

But like I said, $4k a year is the old, pre-claim premium.

File one expensive hospital claim and you'll see that old premium double or even triple.

They'll get their money back out of you one way or the other.

Well they cannot beat it out of you. Kind of defeats the purpose if you cannot pay your medical bills the first time.....

I'm sorry but that's false. The premiums increase uniformly based on product, after someone has a birthday, etc. The premiums are not raised because someone filed a claim. That's a myth.

Look moron, to a person who's life savings is less than 12,000 dollars, you might ask them if they really fucking care. Again once a persons life savings is exhausted by the first 12,000 premium they are pretty much fucked by Obama for the rest of their life, aren't they dickhead?

Next turd

Premiums only exist if their is a carrier in your area, and if the user gets to keep their plan and keep their doctor, which hasn't ever actually happened, has it goofy

No. You're an idiot without a basic understanding of insurance or how it works.

Obamacare is not insurance, it's SOCIALISM, and it will never succeed in America.

So did you get to keep your plan and your doctor?

Asswipe and liar if you say you did

I know how Obamacare works. Obamacare is insurance, subsidized by the feds for some but regular insurance nonetheless. It works just like the rest of them do. I have a high-deductible plan under my employer meaning I pay the provider's allowed amount out-of-pocket until I meet the deductible.

And we know that you did not keep either your plan, or your doctor, and that you are just as full of shit as Oboob is.

LOL, your doctor is the psychiatrist that prescribes your Seroquel and Abilify

Sure, but the question is HOW MUCH the increase is come your next birthday.

Don't file an expensive claim and your increase will be average.

File a big claim for a serious illness that runs up $100's of k's in bills and watch what happens.

I kept my plan and doctor but I have employer insurance.

You are incapable of making a valid argument against Obamacare --and there are many-- such as the one-size-fits-all plan mandates, etc. You just sound stupid....

There is a chart with uniform rates for every age group for each plan. What you claim is patently false. Stop believing propaganda.
