The GOP’s Huge, Growing Modernity Gap!

That's total nonsense and the voting rights act has nothing to do with it. Republican State houses have gerrmandered districts so that they disproportionately favor rural districts.

Here in Ohio Cleveland/Columbus/Cincinnati/Dayton & Toledo metro areas represent 2/3rd of the population of the State but of the State's 18 representatives only 7 of them are apportioned to those metropolitan areas representing 2/3rd's of the States population while the remaining 11 are apportioned to rural districts representing only 1/3 of the States population so you are factually wrong.

Thanks for proving what a complete partisan hack you are. BOTH parties have gerrymandered districts to provide safe seats for themselves. You are delusional to think it is just Reps.

You then point to YOUR state and how things are set up and then pretend that means it is that way everywhere.

According to wiki...

Your districts each have about 630k as of the 2000 census. Do you have more current info that shows otherwise Mutt?

There is the more current info for Ohio... seems they are fairly close in size on average, but there are a few outliers... the largest of them includes

Ohio's 12th congressional district is represented by Republican (GOP) Representative Patrick J. Tiberi. The district includes communities north and east of Columbus including Zanesville, Mansfield and Dublin.

From 2003 to 2013 the district included the heavily African-American part of Ohio's capital city, Columbus, Ohio along with its northern suburbs, including Westerville, Ohio.

Boy I tell you....sometimes you're dumber than a bag full of hammers. I never claimed Democrats didn't gerrymander, I said that gerrymandering in States with Republican legislatures that gave a disproportinate number of districts to rural regions is the main reason why Republicans didn't lose the house in the last election and held onto the house. Try learning to read Goober!

I'm back on my P90X program and on a strict diet (well, strict outside of alcohol). Y'all are killing me with this junk food talk. Damn my mouth is watering.

Hmmmmmm, gummy bears.

Some pizza, a Heiniken, some Ben and Jerry's Peach Cobbler, topped off with some super delicious gummy bears .. all made more delicious by the precious.

I'd call that a wholesome meal. :0)

Who says politics ain't profitable?
