Yes, the Republicans desperately want the debates to be fixed. They are too biased towards facts and good policy. Democrats keep winning them, and not giving Republican lies an equal chance. Republicans are sure that we need to set lies on an equal footing as truth.
The question we keep coming back to is why did trump keep losing debates? Or put another way, if Biden has dementia, how was he able to do so much better than trump in debates?
The best answer trump could come up with was Biden used a magical drug to give him super human intelligence. Maybe Biden just studied for the debates, and policy in general. Maybe hard work pays off. But trump will never believe that, so he makes up a shortcut.

Reality has long been known to have a liberal bias. Republicans very much want to eliminate it.
The reality is that we allowed Republicans to set the debate method, and they discovered that they lose anyway. Now they want to rework it so that it is not a debate.
I would suggest that the so-called "conservatives" are liberal and todays self-styled "liberals" are really tyrants.

The GQP or GOP is serious and strict with its war against Democracy, society and anything else of a civilized nature while living it up on the taxpayer dime as a result of their squalid act of zealous stupidity at conspiring with tRump and his sewer mob to engage in a direct assault on the U.S. This is when it comes to that rag tag January 6th so-called coup attempt that blew up and continues to blow up on their hides. Actually, considering the amount of sedition, treason and hostilities against American society among the GQP creatures at serving the bidding of foreign enemies and the enemy from within, in particular, their effort to overturn a lawful 2020 election in Biden and the majority's favor, the entire GQP and their ass sucker associates should be declared a enemy of the State and dealt with like any other enemy against Democracy accordingly.

As an outside observer, this is what it looks like. Politician A says he has "simple conservative" answers, red state voters elect him. When he executes those policies, they fail miserably. So Politician B says Politician A was not a real conservative, but Politician B claims to have the real "simple conservative" answers. Politician B fails miserably. So Politician C claims Politician B was just not conservative enough....
Maybe the problem is not the lack of conservatism.
