And once again, the 800-pound gorilla in the corner is the 20k national guard troops authorized by Trump and turned down by bowser, and more importantly, pelosi, whose actual job involves the security of the capitol! Seems to me that its more likely those two jackasses "corruptly attempted to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021" than Trump did.

It was impossible for a local mayor, or a legislator with no administrative control to turn down National Guard troops. The National Guard troops are under the control of either the governor, or in this case the president. In theory, the state legislators, or in this case the Congress, could pass bills to turn down the National Guard, but that would take months, and never happened.
