The Founders were wrong to grant Supreme Court justices life tenure

I realize that you probably avoid it now, but when you were younger, you probably said the pledge of allegiance..........

what does that pledge say about America?????

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands,"

I rest my case.

Your case is based on a fucking poem....or whatever the hell that is.
OK, whatever makes you happy, STY.

We're a republic,
just like the People's Republic of China
or one of the 23 republics in the Russian Federation.

I don't give a shit.
Whatever you like to call us,
our Constitution gave us
the most pathetically inefficient form of government on the planet.

What's more, constitutionalists like yourself think that's a good thing.
You're all batshit crazy.

Actually, dummy, our form of government is a constitutional federal republic (CIA World Factbook).

It appears that the spooks at the CIA are brighter than you, old man.

What really added to the incompetence of the Supreme Court is when Mitch made it a majority vote, made appointment 100% political, previously at least confirmation meant some compromise and reaching across the aisle
You can that your party and Harry Reid for making it majority vote on Federal Judges confirmation after that it was only a matter of time before it would be extended to SC confirmations.

I kind of wish she had left when Obama was still President. I get the feeling a lot of Americans agree with me on that one.
She should have. Before she died she was falling asleep on the bench. Like most powerful people she had difficulty letting go of power. Examples Dianne Feinstein and Joe Biden. Both are clearly not capable of preforming their jobs. Both still want to hang on to power.

Crazy Nancy Pelosi, tambien.

Actually, Ginsburg fell asleep during the State of the Union, but not on the bench. Reagan used to fall asleep during cabinet meetings, which somehow seems worse. After all Ginsburg is just window dressing at the State of the Union, with absolutely nothing to decide.

trump just would not show up until afternoon. he needs his 18 hours of sleep.

The Founders didn’t expect us to have life spans as long, a judiciary as powerful or partisanship as intense as we do. One result is that the course of government policy on a very wide range of issues depends crucially on what the retirement plans and health of nine people happens to be. Another is that every vacancy on the Supreme Court sets off an ugly battle. Justices also stick around long after their confirmations: Nowadays, they serve nearly twice as long as the average justice before 1970.

How else could those crooks on Capital Hill maintain their tautology of "one nation under God with equal justice under law" with "serve the Pope or die" more perfect union to Islam "death to the infidels" while Islam human reproduction medical pseudoscience of virgin Mary son of Allah "Jesus the Christ" conception diatribe of Christiananality pedophilia business as SCOTUS law of the land....

Or for "one nation under God with equal justice under law" how else can the way too dang lily brilliant white law of the land have such a multitude of thieving National Archives US Constitution Bill of Rights arsonists when it comes to Islam medical human reproduction pseudoscience of the son of Allah Jesus the Christ conception from an immaculate virgin Mary to continue Islamidiotocracy "death to the infidels" Christiananality pedophilia "serve the Pope or die" national religion.....
