Just being a little pedantic but i'm pretty sure our overall crime rates, violent crime rates and murder rates have all dropped over the past decade.

The .41 was a good caliber. Lots of power without being as rough on the shooter. I almost bought a Ruger Blackhawk in .41 several years ago.

If you want to look REAL long term, they've been roughly the same as a century ago. Of course you guys have a much different culture and are much more ethnically homogeneous than we are.
