Btw.....Do you know why Cloward and Pivin eventually had second thoughts about the " overwhelm the welfare state strategy " they conjured up? Because they thought there would be a good chance of instead of just giving everyone a UBI the conservative movement would still be strong enuff to just allow the welfare state to collapse and replace it with NOTHING.
