The exodus begins

So you say, Anchovies.

Opinions advanced without supporting evidence are instantly and summarily dismissible.

I live in hope.

As of the latest available data from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2024 population estimates (released in mid-2025), the median age of Florida's residents stands at 42.6 years.

So you say. Your anecdotal claims without supporting evidence are also instantly and summarily dismissible.
As I said, Florida is where people go to die:

“More than 55 million Americans are age 65 or older. One-fourth of these older Americans live in one of three states: California, Florida, and Texas.”(https://www.prb.org/resources/which-us-states-are-the-oldest/)

“Maine and Florida home to large population of baby boomers” (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2024/01/30/states-oldest-averag-age/72401466007/)

And it's just the election of Chancellor - what could go wrong?

Some one elected a Chancellor? Must be “breaking news” on Fox

That doesn't change the facts, Anchovies.

As of the latest available data from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2024 population estimates (released in mid-2025), the median age of Florida's residents still stands at 42.6 years.

But they do prove Florida ranks in the top three States in the country in old people, as I said, that is where they go to die

Poor Anchovies.

Mississippi has the highest mortality rate for seniors (adults aged 65 and older) among U.S. states, based on the most recent detailed state-level data for age-specific early death rates in the 65–74 age group.According to the America's Health Rankings 2023 Senior Report, which analyzes CDC data, Mississippi had an early death rate of 3,147 deaths per 100,000 adults aged 65–74 in 2021—the highest in the nation and twice the rate of Hawaii (1,552 per 100,000), the state with the lowest.

West Virginia followed closely with 3,066 per 100,000 in the same period (up 18% from 2020).

Nationally, the early death rate for ages 65–74 was 2,151 per 100,000 in 2021.
