well thats the thing, you could write whatever but wast was news is that they CAN and apparently DO lock things so you cannot.
You cannot "paper over" a decade of not paying a mortgage.
The government tried desperately to get inflation, but it was difficult. It took years (not rapid), and the best they could get was 4%. The level of insanity they had to do to get that 4% is crazy. They had to confiscate all gold, and replace it with paper money. It became illegal to own gold for investment for decades afterwards. And even that was only able to get them mild inflation, not enough to counteract the deflation they had gone through.
It literally took 17 years, confiscating all the gold, massive government economic involvement, and a world war to counteract the deflation. It was a nightmare.
It is amazing how the Democrats were able to shutdown the world economy, while only controlling a few states.

2008 to 2017 is 9 years, and that is assuming trump solved everything immediately.
If a mortgage is not being paid for 9 years, there is no way to hide that. That is about one third of its life. That would destroy every bank in America.
You might as well argue that trump solved the Great Depression, or perhaps kept the Continental Congress from defaulting. The time distance is too great for any of this to be reality.

If it took him a bit of time to deal with houses that were abandoned 9 years before, those houses were then abandoned for 10+ years, with the mortgages not being paid, with the lawns not being mowed, with the taxes not being paid, with the plumbing not being kept warm, etc.
That did not happen. You are being silly now. trump did nothing to solve the collapsed mortgages of 2008. I am not saying that as an attack on trump. he just was a decade too late. That is reality.

You obviously have no idea how real estate works, or memory as to what happened. Houses did not just sit around for a decade until trump came along. As for banks eating the losses, they could not eat that much in losses, and besides they did not completely own the mortgages.
