The Desperate Right

The threadbanners are the pussies, bitch. I've kicked your ass on so many threads down here, I have no need there.

ROFL...in what way was my question 'dishonest"?

I mean, other than knowing when I asked it that you'd find some cowardly way to refuse to answer.

There are honest questions and dishonest questions. Honest questions are questions we ask to get answers. Dishonest questions are questions we ask for a purpose other than getting answers.

This text is a perfect example of a dishonest question. It is not that the question is bad or that the answer to the question is inconsequential. The problem is the purpose of the question. The Pharisees and the Herodians did not actually want Jesus’ thoughts on the matter. They wanted to put him in a box. They wanted to put him at odds with one group or the other. They wanted to control him.

As a pastor, I get dishonest questions all the time. What is your opinion on gay marriage? Immigration? War? There are some people that really want to know what I think. However, a strong majority just ask so that they know which box to put me in. Conservative. Liberal. Democrat. Republican. Fundamentalist. Progressive. Inerrantist.

Literalist. Homophobe. Racist. and on and on and on.

Basically it comes down to your belief that SCOTUS is infallible. That, and, you're too afraid to debate with actual rules.

The rule, asswipe, is that I can identify you as the idiot that you are here.

And I see you are reverting to your standard non-argument. Pitiable.

Well, I knew when I asked it, that you'd never have the courage to answer honestly.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

To recap, you asked me about someone else's motivation. Since there is no way for me to know that, the purpose of your question was not to obtain an answer. Thus it was a dishonest question.

My question to the Democrats (and media) is simple: What voters in that big chunk of the country turned red do you plan to win back on a platform of kneeling for the national anthem, revoking due process, removing monuments of our founders, or backing Kim Jong Un in a nuclear showdown?

That's another one of your problems, thinking that you can set the rules of debate. That's yet another reason why you are afraid to debate in APP.
