When right-wing hacks and websites spread false information it is an issue. If they have to lie about something so innocuous and easy to verify, why should I believe anything they say?

In another thread, the Rune-tard is demanding a link to prove the Republicans obstructed Bush's efforts at immigration reform in 2006. That's 7 years ago. Did all of you just emerge from a freaking coma? Or do you all just live food stamp to food stamp?

I know Rune and he gets sick and tired of doing the research for blockheads so I'll help him out here. Of the 36 no votes on the bill, 32 were from republicans.

Somewhere along the way I got the impression that when someone quotes my post, and then comments beneath it, that the comments are referring to my post. So theoretically, anytime you quote my post and comment beneath it, you could be responding to some ancient druid fertility god or something?

If no Republicans obstructed it, it would have passed. Are you also under the impression that Democrats are the one standing in the way of immigration reform?

First she insults our reading skills, because I had the temerity to assume she was responding to me when she quoted my post and wrote underneath it. Apparently I was supposed to realize she was actually responding to a comment Calvin Coolidge made in 1924.

Then, she turns around and gets lost reading a single sentence.

You dropped the context of my reply to GGG so don't try to backtrack now. This started out as a discussion, and I use the term loosely, on when Tyson began using illegals, did Hillary know and if she did, when did she find out. If your attention span is so short you couldn't absorb all that before flapping your gums... not my problem.

Also, it has nothing to do with this thread.

I've been to forums where liberals actually have a working knowledge of the issues and can intelligently discuss the issues.

I'm not saying that doing a study here is completely without merits.

I read one once that sort of paralleled my experiences here. It was titled something like "Beating Retarded Children for Wetting the Bed: At What Point Does it Cease to be Productive and Start Being Mere Cruelty?"
