800,000 law enforcement officers in this country and all but maybe 2% are the best of the best doing a very tough job. Why engage this guy Free, he has a lop-sided agenda?

a very tough job? what would that be? ordering about the citizens of a supposedly free state at the behest of a over bearing government?

Were they forced in to that job? does being in that 'tough job' afford them greater rights and/or privileges than me or you?

Every citizen of every state is free to live in peace. Every society in every succesful nation ensures that peace with laws. Laws are neccesary because some people want to do harm for their own gain and or malevolent intentions. Police serve the citizenry by aiding in protection through enforcement...it's a tough fucking job because there exists assholes and idgits!

Laws do not stop crime or criminal acts, see above. Only the threat of lethal violence deters crime. All laws do is allow the government to punish offenders.

This is an old and outdated concept. You are not owed protection by any law enforcement agent. They are not required nor obligated to provide you with personal protection, see warren v. DC or gonzalez vs castle rock, neither are they liable if they fail to protect you.

Of course they ensure peace via threat of force, because if not, pure anarchy would exist. We have three choices: either unarm the citizenry and the police, or allow all to be armed, or allow only the police to be armed. We in this country have chosen number 2. The fact of the matter is that bad guys want things and they will take it by force. In this country we choose to have an armed force of public servants to protect and enforce the laws.

Laws do not prevent crime, though they often do serve as a deterence... Laws make clear that a line exists and that there are consequences for crossing said line. Laws are neccesary in a society to provide for the safety and to promote the general welfare of the people; a clause that is Constitutionally sound. Constitutionally we have, by majority decision, chosen to be a nation of laws.

As I have stated it is a valuable service to make abuses and corruption of those in power public. Your seeming agenda however makes a mockery of that kind of public exposure as it attempts to paint all law enforcement officers with the same brush...and that's fucked up!
