The has been a growing condemnation if Israel's response to the Hamas attack that left 1400 dead, thousands injured, and 239 taken hostage, an act of war by international standards.
Thus, I pose this question. How does one fight a war when the enemy hides among it's innocent citizens? The Hamas tunnels run beneath apartment houses, schools, hospitals etc. Hamas is effectively using its citizens as human shields.
Remember this isn't the first-time innocents were killed and injured during military operations, the fire-bombing of Dresden in WWII comes to mind.
