The Constitution is clear about the mail in voting

Hahaha. No thanks. I'll continue to vote by mail.

Our only distrust with this method is the USPS. We don't trust them to deliver stuff timely. We get our ballots ~30 days before the election. We fill them out and drop them off at the township's lockbox the next time we're in town. Then we check the MI SOS website to verify that they were received and that there's no issues, like forgetting to sign the outer envelope. We've voted this way since 2020 with not a single issue.
It's not you or your method that concerns me. I'm sure you use it as it is intended. Millions do. I think the military should have a 5 day grace period, too.
I want to see voter rolls updated. With computers the way they've come. it shouldn't be that difficult to keep track of deaths and moves.

Sure they can be. According to some posters here, there is a valid reason why women shouldn't be able to vote.
There are actually a number of valid reasons

1) On average women are more emotional than men and make feelings based decisions. So if 60% of women are like this which is a very conservative estimate, They will overwhelm sane male votes and elect fools and enact bullshit policies.

2) They are not eligible for the draft so they should have zero say in sending men to die. Same reason they shouldn't be allowed to hold public office.

3) Because their role as humans isn't to lead, it's to nurture and procreate.

They are updated more often than you might imagine. My late husband died in February of 2005. That year we had a minor local election for the school district, a bond issue or something like that, in April. When I went to the voting place and had to sign my name in their book, his had already been removed. It was sure a punch in the gut.

I don't think that the federal govt. should have anything to do with thes rolls, which is one of the aspects of Trump's anti-voting bill.

Well IF they go by the Constitution the states legislatures are the ones that decide how their elections are run and who can or can not vote.
It is there in plain language for everybody to see.
Trump just wants to be able to control elections and only have the people He thinks will vote his way vote.

MAGAts are morons who easily fall for the gaslighting of their daddy.

The Constitution is very clear: only Congress and the states can make laws regarding our elections. The ability to vote by mail is crucial to our democracy. It ensures that voters with disabilities, those without transportation access, working families, those who are deployed or otherwise abroad, and many others who rely on its flexibility can exercise their right to vote.

The right to vote is not in the Constitution

Yep. They're eager to get their hands on and access to states' voter rolls so that they can be purged. Not of dead or ineligible people, but of those likely to vote for anyone but an (R). If you've registered as a (D) or (L) or (I), you're in danger of being dumped. Even those of us who don't register for any particular party could be purged as well.

Because Trump worshipers are stupid and short-sighted, they don't seem capable of understanding that if this becomes possible, the (D)s can use it, too.

But the Constitution does give the State legislatures the right and power to decide how they want to appoint their delegates to the EC, they can do it any way they want , so IF they decide to hold elections they can, heck they don't need to , they can just appoint whom ever they want, but I am sure if they did that they would not have a job for long.

Agreed. Another possibility is that they believe they'll never yield power by establishing a White Nationalist autocracy. They are evil people and enemies of the Constitution.

Remember their names, where they live and where they work.
