the conservative approach to sex ed

Not a big surprise. And nothing new. Years ago, when there was less known about AIDs, the public school system in Alabama launched an education program about it to be included in the Sex Ed classes. A question was asked that, apparently, had been expected. A young teenaged girl asked "I heard you can't get AIDs from oral sex. Is that true?". The teacher had strict instructions on how to reposnd to any questions concerning oral sex. The reply was "All I can say on that topic is that oral sex is illegal, according to Alabama state law.".

It was so nice of them to educate our youngsters.

don,

could you please copy and paste some of your articles more. i don't like clicking on links all the time.

thank you.

damo is a friend of mine and while i used to cut and paste, it took up too much room - so i learned to post links to save space and cut down on transmission time

sorry

what? that may have been back in the day don....but no longer. i have a whole thread that is nothing but pictures and damo loves it. trust me, those pics take up more "room" than your text ever will. as for transmission time....again....damo loves my pic thread...which again takes easily 10X to load as a text thread.

don't worry about. just post a squib of the article. if all i wanted was links, i would go drudge and not JPP. talk to damo...i promise you he will assure you that you can copy and paste (not the whole article) but enough of the article to give the rest of the viewers/posters an idea of what is actually being said.

partial cut and paste is another thing altogether, i used to copy the entire article, also pictures/videos are usually just links

however i will try partial texts from articles

it makes me wonder how many people caught an std because of conservative miss-education - they must think that it is 'god's will'

bummer

partial with a link is good. a link by itself is also fine. I would probably avoid posting entire articles though as that could be a copyright issue.

You can use up as much as you want DQ... Post a bit of the articles, and then post a link so people can get the rest. That's my usual method. It's up to you though, man.
