The Car of the Year.............Is Electric. MAGA soils diapers.

It tells me he was a bad manager.

It's the general conciseness here in rural America. EVs aren't popular here. At all.
MJT level? I work at a campground, she's a congressperson. I'd take that job!

He might have been. You do not know that. There are other reasons you can guess at.

The point being one example has no bearing on the Industry.

My friend lost his job is not indicative of a good or bad jobs market.

And that you do not understand the Marjorie Greene comment shows you are not even suited to take her job, sadly.

You really don't grasp technology very well. You claim I don't but you're clearly wrong on that.

Battery cars haven't really changed since 1900. Sure, better batteries are available. Better electric motors, controls, car management systems, etc. But nothing has be revolutionary, just evolutionary.

ICE vehicles likewise have mostly evolved not undergone some revolution in technology.

The revolution in technology would be a viable fuel cell vehicle or one running on a nuclear source (not that that's likely to happen).

EV's have been repeatedly tried since the 1900's and have failed to gain traction in the marketplace every time. Today's EV's are no different. The only change in the current EV push is that government is forcing them on consumers whether consumers want them or not.

Terry, you need to just stop. You embarrass yourself.

Gas Stations Terry. Gas stations dotting the country were what allowed the IVE vehicle to go from something people had to fuel up at home with limited use, to an every day, every where commuter. Gas stations and improved mileage.

Charging stations are now parcelling that and creating the same for EV's along with better range batteries.

You are pushing an argument that there has been no changes that would influence or benefit buyers for EV's from the early 1900's to now, and since EV's did not catch on when there were NO charging stations and battery life was a fraction of what it is today is just absurd.

IT is a laughably stupid position to push that there is no advancements for EV drivers since the early 1900's.

His inadequacies for management have no bearing here.

It has sufficient bearing on the industry here in rural America
considering there are very few charging stations around here.

What does the job market have to do with the fact that it's
difficult to sell EVs here because there's few charging stations?

I understand your indignity for a politician you despise, which
has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the fact EVs are
unpopular in rural areas. You seem unsuitable for this conversation.

And there you go RB. I tricked and triggered you to answer your own question.

Yes, as i HAVE SAID constantly, in these threads, rural areas are not well serviced YET and will take more time.

So what does that "tell me" with regards to EV's as a category, as a whole, as you asked, when giving your friends example? Nothing surprising. That is what, it tells me.

RB you are old enough to remember the roll out of the internet and more recently broadband, and how it was first adopted in big cities and then eventually by rural communities. HOw due to lack of population density the economics simply take longer to make that jump.

WHat does that tell you about the internet and broadband RB? Is the technology going to fail? Not going to reach everyone? OR do you understand, what Terry is incapable of, which is that as the mass roll out happens, starting in big cities, that advancements in Tech happen as do economies of scale, that allow for it to eventually reach and be affordable to almost everyone?

This is normal and how it works the world over for almost every new mass roll of technologies and YET, we have a unique group in america, concentrated amongst Magat's, who seem oblivious to how technology works and how it is rolled out. We might as well be speaking a foreign language to them as every aspect of this, as Terry and you demonstrate, is something you do not understand.

Ok, so your just a liar. Anyone seeing Joe speak knows something is wrong with him. Now spew your next lie, leftist scum.

So you admit you lied when you said "He's senile and it's been proven be by example countless times."

It hasn't been proven. It's just your sad, pathetic opinion. And you have to convince yourself that it's true by saying
Anyone seeing Joe speak.
I got news for you Billy Boy that may shock you: Not everyone thinks like you.
You're so far up Trump's butt, you look like a polyp. It's obvious Trump does all your thinking for you, you little pathetic fool.

IT is a laughably stupid position to push that there is no advancements for EV drivers since the early 1900's.

The government didn't spend millions or billions to build them everywhere the way they are with charging stations. Nobody sees any incentive or profit in building charging stations, so private industry isn't doing it without massive government subsidy.

The Car of the Year Is Electric.

https://apple.news/A-oBx1rvdRQG8v_MTUMeGJQ

Automotive publication MotorTrend named its 2024 car of the year on Thursday. It’s electric.
The 2024 Toyota Prius is the winner of MotorTrend’s golden calipers. “Toyota has fundamentally redefined the essence of a Prius with its new model,” said*MotorTrend*Group head of editorial, Ed Loh, in a news release. ‘In an automotive landscape grappling with a scarcity of affordable EV options, Toyota made the Prius hybrid the right car for this moment and rightfully earned*MotorTrend’s 2024 Car of the Year award in the process.”

So that must be the best selling car in America, right?

Right?

No?

You're such a fucking sycophant clown...

Joe is probably a govt plant paid to try and convince people how wonderful EVs are but he can't name a significant benefit that the owner of an EV gets from owning one.

This reminds me of the CFL twisty bulbs. All the lies and bullshit used to try and force people off of real lightbulbs.

Isn't it funny that when LED lights came around, no one needed to be pushed by government - since it was superior technology - people flocked to them.

EV's are the same, WHEN a product is a better choice than ICE vehicles, no one will need to pay subsidies or coerce consumers to adopt them. But that time isn't here yet. EV's are inferior and we all know it. Power Cells still look like the best technology to me.

Agreed. If something has to be forced on people that means it's a shitty idea.

That in no way addresses your argument that there is nothing new in EV's from the early 1900's to today that would see them adopted and more successful.

The gov't spent billions upon billions for almost all 100 years deeply subsidizing Oil and Gas, and ICE auto manufacturing, thru bail out after bail out and other. So this SECONDARY already FAILED argument you always bring up, that i debumnked prior, is just stupid.

EV's are still wayyyyyyyy behind in terms of subsidies, especially the hundreds years of ICE embedded subsidies, direct and indirect.

Agreed. If something has to be forced on people that means it's a shitty idea.

And yet you guys ignore the billions, maybe trillions poured into Oil and Gas subsidies and ZICE Manufacturers for some strange reason.

So Uncensored2008Derp logic you only 'agree' with if we EXCLUDE them from the same considerations.

As usual you have no clue what anyone is talking about. This about the hype of EVs. As I stated before you and other EVidiots can't name one significant advantage to the owner of an EV yet every other day that moron joe cap tells us how wonderful EVs are. The point is if they were so wonderful we wouldn't need to be told how wonderful they are.

I state all the time they are not for everyone, not for every terrain or location YET and for may never be, and i am fine with that.

What i am replying to and what you have no clue about is the constant stream of stupidity by Terry and people like you and Terry spout about 'subsidies' or them 'not developing since the 1900's', etc, etc, etc,.

If you idiots simply said, "i don't like them and will not drive them' I would say 'great'. But you do not do that. Because you 'do not like them', you then have to lie and make up stupid shit to try and slag them. THAT is what i respond to.

Why don't you go buy one then?

It's not about whether or not they are for everybody. The issue is two fold. First no can cite one significant advantage for the owner to owning an EV. Second and related to the first, these things are being hyped and replacing ICEs even though there are no significant advantages to the owner and we lack the infrastructure for it. All this does is lead me to believe this is about some people getting richer while the rest of us get fucked. Again the govt has never had to force people to buy iPhones have they?

How do you know he hasn't owned a Prius for years, Liar Bill?

As for me, I'm a follower of the pilot's maxim "Never fly the 'A' model of anything". I prefer to see all the bugs worked out and then, being frugal, buy a nice used one around 2030.

QPeeeeee, I do not like them and I will not drive them. What I dislike more is the government telling me I have to own one in the future. Happy now? Derp, derp, derp!
