The biggest issue we face? Loss of biodiversity

But you won't hear it in one single campaign debate, or commercial.

I'm sure someone would counter that Americans don't care about stuff like that - they care about their wallets. They care about inflation. But it's not a big mystery what is going to happen to those things & many more once we hit a critical point in loss of biodiversity.

Our politics is to myopic and geared toward the short-term to address this almost incomprehensible crisis. And that's part of the problem, too - it's hard for us to wrap our minds around all of the implications that come with it. It will be a disaster for humanity. People probably just feel fatalistic about it, and hope that the worst won't happen in their lifetime.

When food & water start getting scarce, it will probably make its way into a few campaign ads.
