Ok number 1, the small brained fear from women over losing abortion rights is completely unfounded. it's never going to happen. Even if it did the vast majority of states would immediately legalize it. Secondly, I've been smoking weed for more than a decade now and have done so non-criminally for the last 9, even with a conservative court. Not all conservatives are against weed. In fact it's the liberal use of the commerce clause that has fucked us so bad to this point.

But broadly speaking, you are right, there is never a perfect judge. One has to be pragmatic.

I'm always a little surprised; I'm not really a sanctimonious person in general. I guess I just play one on JPP.

Morality doesn't seem to matter to those AL Republicans.

They just showed a whole series of AL Republicans on the news, who all still plan to vote for Moore, including the governor. Most expressed that they were "troubled" or "concerned" about the allegations, but that it didn't matter: it was much more important to have an extra "R" vote in the Senate.
