Morality doesn't seem to matter to those AL Republicans.

They just showed a whole series of AL Republicans on the news, who all still plan to vote for Moore, including the governor. Most expressed that they were "troubled" or "concerned" about the allegations, but that it didn't matter: it was much more important to have an extra "R" vote in the Senate.

both sides do it. this is how the world works. neither side gives a shit about morality. we want our goals realized. politics is zero sum game.

leftists have their own religion but make no mistake they feel every bit as smug and holier than thou as their conservative counterparts. It was that smugness and arrogance that led to their utter shock in 2016.

you absolutely have your own goon squad of moral police telling everyone what the right things to believe are. It's not a traditional religion but it has every bit the same amount of fervor, smugness, and moral superiority.

nobody cares about more votes. people care about winning and actually affecting change. you can have all the votes you want, meanwhile we'll keep putting in judges we like that will last for 30 years. Now who's winning?

"Smugness" and "arrogance" aren't the same as "moral superiority." You know you're fighting a losing argument here - the GOP has, forever, been the party of "morality" and religious values...
