I'm convinced that the Reichwing considers every inch of progress as a direct attack on their unearned privilege. It's the lowest, vilest, most deplorable human condition to want to hold down other people just to maintain undeserved power. I also note that progress and progressives have always won -- even when it's two steps forward and one step back.

Many moons ago I recall reading about a psych experiment with monkeys. They were crowded into an enclosure with a ladder with bananas at the top. When one would climb up to get the fruit, they'd all be sprayed with cold water. Eventually the others would pull the climber(s) back down. It sounds almost like an urban myth. It also sounds like MAGATs/Republicans.

There is no reasonable, intelligent comparison between the radicalization of the Republican party under Donald Trump and the radicalization of the Democratic party under Barack Obama and Joe Biden. In fact, Obama had to be 1,000 times more cautious than any president before him because he is Black. Biden can't keep the far left satisfied because he supports Israel.

Far right radicals -- especially the white kind who don't like nonwhites and non-heterosexuals -- are the entire Republican party structure, membership, and leadership now.
