Actually, this is because your ilk have succeeded in removing the Bible, Christian literature, and all vestiges of Christianity from state entities.
Right now, there is a high school football coach who was fired for taking a knee IN PRAYER, mid-field after every game, accompanied by some of his players. The case is being heard in the SCOTUS. But just a few years ago when there was a radical muslim suicide bomber under every rock, Islam was being taught in American schools (under the guise of “tolerance”, I suppose), and you saw a little outrage from parents, but I don’t know if it was enough to stop it.
Christianity taught me some CRF (Christian Religious FACT).
1) If I can communicate with you in a common language, you are most likely a fellow human being regardless of skin color, race or creed.
2) If a male and female human engage in sexual congress and both are healthy and sexually mature, regardless of skin color, race or creed, it is likely a human child will result from that union.
3) Jesus compels me to love all mankind, all HUMANS, regardless of skin color, race or creed. This is difficult for me sometimes, not because of skin color, race or creed, but because of nitwits like you.
I suppose the Bible DOES speak of rape (I can’t think of any place specific though, but it makes sense, and I’m positive Jesus is anti-rape), and thou shall not kill is the 6th commandment, after all. But I suppose these are not things you want to be taught in schools?

Which elementary school allows the teacher to teach from the Bible? I'd be interested in where you find that to be legal. I'm sure that Jerry Falwell would tell folks to send their children to that school, for instance...
I don't remember reading the Song of Solomon or the verses about that guy and his daughter while in my public elementary school. Though you seem certain that I did... it is also interesting that you don't mention that the story talks about how that was not "okay"...
another thing my first grade teacher didn't talk about in school was their sexuality... I never knew what religion my teachers followed either.

As for mandatory, none yet, but the plan from Conservatives is to do just that:
