To help you, I'll readdress a previous point and try to calm you on your confusion.
Children don't get the option to refuse; because parents make all decisions regarding of where they live, unless a Government agency steps in and makes the decision for them.
Therefore the parents have the choice of taking their children back to Mexico with them or finding family members living in the US, who are legally here.
If this is to difficult for you to understand, please ask you parents who decided where you were going to live when you were a child.
It's not a threat, it's a reality and they are the ones who have the choice to decide if their children are going to live with them in Mexico or with legal relatives in the US.
