IDK, maybe SOME people do but I haven't read or heard any democrat politician wanting to ban all guns, the only people claiming that, as they have for 3 decades are teabaggers (www.teaparty.org) of course, only when a democrat takes office.

No, but is against a federal statue 18 U.S. Code § 1038. which was a point I was trying to make banning high capacity magazine, military type assault weapons used by the general public, without licensing, without registration, would not be violating the 2nd amendment.

I did, asswipe. I was taught long before 13 that firearms are not toys. I shot my first deer at 13.
In fact, my bedroom walls contained my father's gun collection for as long as I can remember
(pisses me off he, unknowingly to me, sold them). I was told to leave them alone. If I wanted to
shoot them, my father had to be with me until I proved I was responsible enough to handle them
safely. That was around 12, when I got my first hi-power rifle and could hunt by myself.
