The 2016 Democratic Party Destruction summed up in just three words:

I've been seeing one thread and/or news article after another claiming to explain the across the board defeat of the Democratic Party and the Progressive Agenda... Yet no one seems to be able to put it into simple, plain words.

First, let's look at just how much the Democrats have lost over the Obama Years:

Eight years later, under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the Democratic Party has been decimated.
In elections last night Democrats are now down to 48 senators, a minority.
Democrats are down to 192 members of Congress.

Under President Obama, Democrats have lost 900+ state legislature seats, 12 governors, 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats. That's some legacy.

Here are just a few of the excuses and justifications I've seen:

* America has too many under-educated, older, white, male, bigots. ( I guess they plan to get rid of a bunch of them? )
* Treasonous White Women Failed to show up for Hillary
* The Republicans used massive Illegal Immigrant voters
* ACA is actually a wrecking ball, not a solution. It was designed to destroy, to make single payer the only option.
* The Democrats did not go far enough to the Left, they should have openly declared 2016 a socialist revolution.
* The Conservative Traitors in the FBI lied about supposed Hillary misconduct to destroy her campaign.
* The Democrats brand was split into too many small identities, LGBT, BLM, Mexican Immigrants, abortion, guns,...
* Talk Radio begiled the ignorant
* Rigged Primaries, Bernie would have won
* Sexism, too many Americans are so sexist they will never vote for Hillary
* The Democrats did not have a good enough Slogan
* Hillary failed to Tweek enough, but Trump tweeked allot
* Obamacare premiums just up too much at the wrong time.
* Hillary is too much like Trump
* The MSM failed to do enough to promote Hillary
* Putin, Julian Assange and WikiLeaks used hacking information to destroy the election
* Hillary is too Establishment, Trump is a rebel
* Hillary assumed it was simply her turn.
* Hillary assumed it was simply time for a woman president
* The Pollsters Hide the problems in failing support for Hillary as part of a plot to sell news time.

Let me summarize the entire thing into just three words:

All Lives Matter!

So, how long until we see the last candidate with a "D" next to their name run for office?

How long until the political vacuum generates a new Brand Name for the American Working People's party?

Will we be able to keep out the current batch of completely Corrupt Lefties?

To insure that the new working people's party is based upon:

Honor
Integrity
Open Mindedness
Tolerance
Race/Gender/Orientation Blindness
Fiscal Restraint
Honesty
Pragmatism
Cooperation
Respect for all viewpoints
Patriotism
Self-Discipline
Decorum

And above all, Respect for the Rule-of-Law!

The Democratic Party failed because they got into the regular habit of casually dismissing people they saw as not part of their power base, and therefore were irrelavent.

They made 10s of Millions of angry, disenfranchised, alienated, and poorly understood Americans.

I would hope that Trump and the GOP is not foolish enough to repeat their mistake.

"waste of time" comes to mind.....

Some of U.S. like to understand the details and context of what is going on in the country...

The Democrats clearly don't, they like Dogma... and in 2016 it bit them hard.

Speaking of all those details, here is a bit on the upcoming 2018 elections.

The 2018 election is were we will see the first candidates from the new Working People's Party.

And it will be a cycle where the Democratic Party would be in deep trouble, even without the 2016 upset:

Democrats brace against potential 2018 Senate 'disaster'

The 2018 landscape will feature 5 Democrats defending seats in ruby-red states.

Red-state Democrats and party strategists are already nervously looking past 2016, when they are angling to recapture the Senate, to the 2018 elections, hoping against hope that their party isn’t setting itself up for a titanic midterm backlash that could flip control of the Senate for a third time in three elections.
As difficult as the 2016 Senate map has been for Republicans, who had to defend numerous blue- and purple-state seats and could lose their majority, Democrats’ 2018 map looks practically unnavigable. The party starts with five ruby-red seats to defend: Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia. Then, Democrats have a slew of Senate seats up in traditional swing states, including Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin. If he doesn’t become vice president, Tim Kaine will also face reelection in closely divided Virginia in 2018. And if he does, a Democratic appointee could face an expensive special election in 2017 before the race for a full term the next year.

However far off it may seem, the consequences of the 2016 election are already hitting home for lawmakers preparing to defend their seats in 2018. While Democrats cheer Hillary Clinton’s lead in the presidential race right now, they are also very aware that it could lead, like clockwork, to a very bad midterm election for Senate Democrats in two years — while the slimmer chance of a Trump victory could help inoculate some of their red-state senators.
“[Democrats] have not figured out how to translate presidential success into midterm success. And even worse, this time we have a candidate who is winning by default,” said one Democratic strategist who has worked on Senate races. “It’s going to be a disaster.”
Meanwhile, Republicans are already looking ahead.
2018 is “already on the minds of Republicans," said Scott Jennings, who ran a super PAC backing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in Kentucky in 2014. "We're on defense for two more months and then we go on offense for...

Additionally, there are a bunch of Democratic seat up for reelection in 2018, in traditionally blue states, that turned out to be "Not so Blue" in 2016.

... Early predictions

Democrats are expected to target the Senate seats in Nevada and Arizona.[2] Republicans are expected to target Democratic-held seats in Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, and West Virginia, all of which voted for Mitt Romney in the 2012 election and Donald Trump in the 2016 election,[3] as well as seats in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, all of which voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 election.[4] Republicans could also target seats in Virginia, Maine, and New Jersey.[2] Other races may also become competitive.

...
Well, Arizona and Nevada are two of the states where the Democratic Party base is most divided and angry about the Obama Led Democratics ignoring the plight of Working Whites.

Az and Nv are "All Lives Matter" states, in which the New Working People's party is likely to run their first candidates.

The new Working People's Party candidates may not WIN those contests, but they'll make damn sure that the Corrupt, Anti-White, Anti-American, Democratic Party of division and the Leftie-Elites does NOT win in those either!

The Dead Husk of the Corrupted and Blighted Democratic Party will need to be cleared away, before the young, vibrant, new Working People's Party can be planted and begin to grow!

The Democratic Party Political Brand is Finished, kaput, over, burned, .... Dead, Dead, DEAD!
