Thanksgiving meal up 9% higher than last year.

Just looked up price at my local Walmart for the hell of it. Jenni O Turkey,...16 to 24 pounds. 18 bucks. I dunno,....to me that seems cheap as hell. You have to raise the bird, feed the bird, butcher and wrap the bird,...send out out across the country by truck to Walmart,...Walmart has to mark it up to make a profit,...I dunno,....seems pretty damn cheap to me. Seriously,...what do you people want? To pay NOTHING. WTH........All some of you do is bitch about the stupidest things.

They're in stock here...They have been all month... Multiple sizes multiple brands...fresh and frozen... This is a pretty big town...;)( I bet Jarod already has his turkey though.... )
 
We got a free turkey at WinCo, but the person putting them out said that they have far fewer this year than normal. Kroger is not doing it this year.....they are doing some kind of a meal kit.

Interesting eggs weren't listed. I get them for $1.50 a doz.
Anyway, I went to this small farm market, a 45 min. drive, but they have the best beef bologna I've ever had.
The price was the same as last year, I think the rings were at least a big as last year. Prime cuts weren't cheap, but they were fine.
The GF bitches every time she comes back from the grocery store.....with twice what she had on her list. Go figure...

Wholesale inflation data - fuel prices rose 3.5% and food 1.1% for September.
