After all, as everybody this side of complete and utter delusion knows, ObamaCare was based on a Republican (Heritage Foundation, RomneyCare) idea, passed with 150+ Republican amendments, yet without a single GOP vote due to their rigorously pursued scorched-earth obstruction, after two years (some might say 20 years) of rigorous debate, and thorough scoring. If any bill during the last decade merited the term "compromise", the ACA is it. Still, the GOP lied about basically every aspect of it, and based their electioneering on these lies - as usual in conjunction with dog-whistle racism.

None of that is true. The ACA is still the law of the land. There are still millions of people getting health treatment they could not get before. Some parts of it, the Repubs are too afraid to get rid of, like preconditions disqualifying you from getting health care. And who wants to return to the good old days of rescission? Other than you?
