Agreed. Trump by negotiating with Terrorists and putting them as the enforcers of the timeline he created, put the US, and thus Biden in to clusterfuck of a situation.


If Biden had pushed back on the timeline, and extended to try and fix some of Trump's fuckups, and instead the Taliban thought the US was not going to leave and was just playing games, and they attacked, causing the loss of US lives and worse, the same people here who argue here Biden should have pushed back the time line and done more to get 'US assets out, etc', would instead be arguing 'all Biden had to do was stick to the Trump timeline and leave and the Taliban would have sat back and done nothing, letting them leave'.

Trump painted this no win situation into existence, and i agree, we should all keep that in mind.

No he was operating by his rules and his timeline. Dementia Joe gave that all over to the Taliban by not sticking to Trump's rules.

We all understand if you are taking over a house and as the person leaving walks out lights it on fire, it is your fault as the new home owner, as to how much damage you can stop happening.

But ignoring the arsonist who set it on fire as he left is foolish. Biden IS responsible for the elements he could control. Trump WAS responsible for the things he locked in to motion that were all disastrous.

It was a war, Earl.

MANY more American lives were lost by the decisions to actually go to Afghanistan, and invade Iraq. Which you no doubt 100% supported.

What the criticism of Afghanistan is:

A lot of folks who had no problem whatsoever sacrificing thousands of American lives for unnecessary wars, offering their critiques for how leaving one of those wars wasn't perfect & easy.
