Actually, is hasn't announced such intentions. The idiot governor brought it up but he doesn't have the stones to do it. And in reality, Texas cannot legally secede from the union.

There was a war fought on that, and the side who thought secession was "legal" lost.

But I do know that several states have signed on to a plan of secession if specific things are met. (And no CO is not one of them.)

It would depend entirely what they were patriotic about. While long ago, people would have called the founding fathers traitors, nowadays people call them patriots.

I tend to agree with the patriot side and think the experiment should continue rather than fall in line with the status quo of the rest of the world. What is it you are patriotic about? The nation, or the freedoms for which it stands?

I absolutely agree with this. I too want the experiment to continue......and I definitely don't want our nation to be like the rest of the world.
