While it is sufficient for you to simply acknowledge that you mean "PhD", you nonetheless have the responsibility to do so, especially in online fora such as JPP because "PHD" written with the 'H' in upper case is a very common initialism, like "LOL", and is presumed to not mean "PhD", having several very common meanings, e.g. Public Health Department, Pizza Home Delivery, Papa Has Dough, Professional Hair Dresser, etc.

Just make the 'h" lower case and avoid the confusion.
