Texas Opts Not to Fix $16 Billion Power Overcharge

The Public Utility Commission of Texas on Friday signaled it didn’t intend to reverse $16 billion in electric overcharges that an independent market monitor had flagged as stemming from the state’s weeklong blackouts.

There may be new blackouts, as money runs out to pay for the crazy electric bills.

It sounded to me like the plan is to get the money from Washington under the title of disaster relief. I did not read the WSJ piece as I do not pay them.
