That has nothing to do with the voter ID law. All the voter ID law states is that your name is the same on your ID's....sounds reasonable to me....
But I do agree....the law is too rigid and too confusing in light of the idiotic drivers license requirement....your maiden name certainly IS NOT your middle name

I'm not from Texas so I can't speak to local elections, but certainly voter ID has been a hot topic in campaigns across the country.......and this law was upheld, not overturned......
