There are at least a half dozen right wing shitheads on here I wish would put me on ignore. They have nothing intelligent to add to any conversation. And those you put on ignore are not responding to you, they are responding to one of your posts and really don't give a shit if you see it or not, others will. If someone puts me on ignore and they say something stupid I'm going to respond to make that evident, I don't give a shit if they see it. Not to mention they will see it just as soon as someone quotes me. The whole putting someone on ignore is kinda juvenile if you ask me, I've never done it and could care less if someone did it to me.

LOL. God forbid. While Lurch is a young gay guy with a chip on his shoulder, I'm much older, hopefully wiser and, if so, more reasonable. He's definitely LEFT while I'm simply a classic Liberal...something the current Democratic party is no longer accepting as a philosophy.
There's the way we see the world, the way we'd like the world to be and the way is will always be. Young guys like Lurch haven't figured that out yet. Smart, educated and sane people understand that maximizing the freedom of themselves and their family is a good thing. Living in fear is not a good thing. Likewise, people who are, indeed, smart, intelligent and educated know that burning down a village to save it is a non sequitur. Depriving freedoms for all can't increase freedoms for all. Banning shit is not the path to freedom.
The path to a better, freer and more prosperous society is to both respect individual unalienable rights and to see who benefits the most from any and every restriction on individual rights.
Sure, let's ban scary looking guns. The gun manufacturers just make more pistols. Oh, outlaw high capacity magazines? Wow. Who profits from the "new and improved" sized magazines?
Meanwhile, all the Democrats stand around jerking each other off and exchanging Hive Fives while the Republicans profit from billions of dollars to "make things right".

Why not vote Libertarian? Yes, right now it's full of wackadoodles, but it's small. Small means easily conquored...at least to the smart, educated and sane people understand opportunities and the advantages gained from taking them early. Let's have a Reason Party where logic applies, not emotion funded by the rich and powerful.
IMHO, if more reasoned people used the Libertarian Party to better America, we'd all be better off in the long run.
