Women are incubators with no say-so about what happens to their own bodies. Some people she does not know will tell her what to do. Then they will leave the girl to take care of the kid. What is wrong with that?

How do you know if your neighbor had an abortion after fetal heartbeat? Are you actually willing to go to the trouble to file a lawsuit and gather the information to prove your case? It would be hard to find a lawyer to take you case for less than $10,000 (although I think the law includes fees).

Again, I don't think the law is going to last. A Texas court already issued a restraining order to prevent suing abortion providers based on the Texas constitution.

No, Texas is trying to control women's lives and decisions Taliban Style.

Not going to hold. Just as Texas's new Voting laws that are set up to guarantee Republican wins in the state of Texas by making sure they are counted and certified by only Republicans.

These will all be challenged in the Supreme Court and the Court of Public Opinion.

All the autocrat Governor (Abbot) is doing is setting himself up to be defeated in the upcoming mid-term elections.
 
I can imagine a girl in Texas asking for help getting an abortion. Then if anybody helps her or says they might, her friends can sue them they have no risk. The sued person pays the lawyer fees. This is a whole new industry. You do not actually have to get one, just say so. There are plenty of unscrupulous lawyers who will help build the industry. They can pay off corrupt judges and crank the suits out. What glory this will be for texas.

That doesn't hurt my feelings. Let's all pay attention to when Li'l Jimmy disappears from JPP. Will it be before or after the next abortion clinic bombing in which he's already implicated himself? I hope they don't question him before he's already done something illegal.
