Now that you concede it is completely subjective where we draw the boundary of when a fetus becomes a human being, my work is done. Old white men in a legislature just codified their opinion by statutory law.

I have always maintained that the question of when a human being's life begins is a metaphysical question, not a scientific one.

Science has no proofs. Science is an open functional system.
At the moment of conception, however, there exists a cell that can replicate into an entire human being. To destroy it for convenience is murder in my opinion. Texas has taken a looser view. It defines abortion past the point of a heartbeat to be murder.

Rightys defend nobody with abortion laws. They help unwanted kids get born. They resign them to a home where they can not be afforded or are not wanted for other reasons.
If rightys really cared about the potential kids, they wouldbring them into their homes or provide coverage for feeding them, educating them and healthcare. Rightys, for some reason, just want kids born. After that, they are done with them.

The sound detected by a sonogram at six weeks is not a heartbeat but electrical activity. The heart valves have not even formed, yet.

The law does not "stop" anything. It allows a citizens to sue providers for $10,000.
 
Does anyone not think the law will not be abused. If people see a chance to make a few bucks off saying someone is helping and abortion, they will do it. They do not even pay their own court costs if they lose. How do you prove what someone says in private or thinks? This is a terrible and cruel bill.

It is still a heart beat with myocardial cells that contract and can be visualized
