Then there's this...

Toyota's Upcoming Hydrogen-Powered 5.0 V-8 Engine Has The Potential To Bury EVs

Hydrogen (and possibly ammonia) are the future of portable fuels. Batteries are a dead end.

Back when pollution controls were being first applied to cars, all the big manufacturers just slapped catalytic converters on their vehicles because it was quick and easy. Their vehicle's performance suffered badly because of it. Honda on the other hand, went and did hard engineering and came up with a better engine that didn't require one and gave good performance. Eventually everybody else paid Honda patent rights to copy it.
Toyota is doing the same thing. They are giving government bureaucrats the finger and inventing a better engine rather than accepting the quick fix. Want to bet who will come out on top given history?

The source of the fuel is still facing the same problems. The pumping of the fuel is still facing the same problems. The hydrogen still must use lots of electricity to manufacture, or use catalytic processes that produces a lot of CO2. Pumping it into a car's fuel tank still has the problem of pressure drop, and the resulting freezing problem.

Catalytic converters don't do anything useful. They are essentially pollution to pollution converters. They are only there because the EPA (itself unconstitutional) says they have to be there. They do not reduce smog. On top of that, they use valuable platinum or paladium to do essentially very little.
They do not reduce engine performance. They do not induce much back pressure.

The device that really handled the smog problem is the EGR circuit, a simple bit of plumbing and a valve. Beyond this, FADEC designs improved fuel efficiency quite a bit, and also reduced the components causing smog.

Other than that, it will be interesting to see how well this engine sells. Being a reciprocating engine, it may very be compatible with many different fuels simply by changing the induction system.

The significant point on this thread, of course, is that Toyota has given up on the EV.

It's like reading a very, very fine print. Sometimes you just need magnification to identify what you are looking at.

LOL. Just because you don't know much about anatomy is not my problem. Justify it as you will. I hope none of the other "doctors" at your "hospital" are as poorly trained as you!

I think you are missing the point. But given your apparent lack of anatomical knowledge I'm guessing it isn't the first such time. How many disciplinary actions do you get before they fire you?

Apparently YOU are the one that is missing the point. Your tiny package has made identification without surgical loops impossible. I suggest you find a urologist who is equipped with operating loops because not all of them are equipped to handle a problem as small as yours.

LOL. Lookit the "Doctor" trying to salvage a screw up on his anatomical knowledge. LOLOLOL.

Keep tryin', "doc"! LOL

Regardless of the size it seems you still don't know the parts. :(

Haven't you ever wondered why they call you "Tiny" at the family reunion? It's the same reason your family doctor didn't see your phimosis problem. Some things are just to small to identify without magnification. There is no surprise that you are an INCEL.
