That's lame. What nation are we building? And that entire region is a den of pissed off vipers holding 1500 year old grudges. You are not going to change that culture, you just play the hand you're dealt. That being said, Jordan and the Kurds have been good friends to us for quite a while(even though we have treated the Kurds like crap and broken many promises to them). Truth be told, I don't think we're very good at this diplomacy stuff, at least at the moment.

Here's a thought - let the people of the Middle East solve their own problems and stop bombing them and selling them stuff they use to kill each other...and us.
