Until a child reaches puberty they really wouldn't know one way or the other in any case... You don't discover you're straight, gay, or the spawn of an alien impregnation until you're going into your teens... Well, maybe you'd know about the alien thing earlier...

Maybe, I don't know how or when that emerges, but growing up in a world where being gay is treated as a taboo subject would make it very difficult on a person who ends up being gay.

Agreed, but we don't need to start discussing sex with kids in kindergarten. Let them grow up and find out about themselves and the world rather than trying to tell them everything and force your set of values down their throats. We really need to get back to having 'free range kids' in that respect.

let the kids find out and think it out on their own -school is for learning not indoctrination
about the time i was going into 3rd grade I started to find girls attractive.
If I had found boys attractive so what. Kids are inherently curious, so dont shove it at them

Gay kids know they are different when they are very young. Talking to them about it when they are kids is not condoning actions. It is just helping them reach psychological acceptance. Teach them they are not broken. Tell them about the rough life that haters will create for them. Give them qualified people to talk to.

While I would agree that complete abstinence on this subject is likely bad, the way it's going many places in the US today is grossly wrong. We don't need sex ed in grade schools and certainly don't need teachers and school officials trying to pigeonhole kids into believing they are one way or another sexually. For thousands of years of human history kids figured that out for themselves. They don't need help from overly 'generous' perverts and deviants wanting to push them into some particular fetish.
