Telling Gaystapo teachers it is NOT "OK" to discuss sexuality with elementary kids

I believe child sexual abuse is at a low in recent times. I think actively educating our children against sexual abuse is a good idea. Teen pregnancy has dropped by nearly three quarters in 30 years. Abortion rates are down too, so the lower teen pregnancy is not due to abortion.

This is happening nearly everywhere, except some areas that Republicans have fought against any sex education. That seems to be the failure of America.

Now we have a slimy politician, with a teen sex scandal of his own, attacking teachers to try to make all of America a failure. It is not good.

[/I] In K-3? Because that is what this bill is about...I'm a retired MS/HS teacher...I can assure you the topic is discussed in schools at that level..;)
No one is attacking teachers...well, almost no one...Gov. DeSantis is not...

No, Walter...

As usual Salty only gives you part of the story,

Modern Decline
Although there is a noticeable decline in U.S. teen pregnancy, the current rate is still two to four times more than in Canada, France, Great Britain, and Sweden. The biggest difference in the rate of pregnancies in the United States compared to the other countries is that in America there is a very high unintended pregnancy rate. This unintended pregnancy rate is higher than the total teenage pregnancy rate in all of the four countries. [29]

In 2010 there was a rate of 57 pregnancies per 1,000 girls aged 15–19. Most of those girls reported that it was an unplanned pregnancy. This shows a 15% drop in pregnancies from 2008 to 2010. There is a huge decline in adolescent pregnancy for the nation as a whole. The cause of these declines are from abstaining from sex or better use of contraceptives.[30] Birth rates among younger teens ages 15–17 have also fallen faster – dropping by 50%, compared with a 39% decline among older teens ages 18 and 19.[31] Researchers have concluded that these declines stem from improvement in use of contraceptives.[30]

That is your opinion, but an awful lot of teachers disagree with you.
And that is your opinion...Most do not, btw...The majority of parents, as well...
15 gender flash cards should be a parent/child activity...not in class...

Indeed.

Salty hasn’t been right on any issue in this century.

He just posted that there are no food shortages in America.

I posted several links proving him wrong.

Can you give examples of this hatred for teachers? And examples of how politicians are attacking them? I'm not seeing this... I am seeing concern for the education...and futures...of our children as top priority...

Here are some examples for you to pretend you don't see.

"The spokeswoman for Florida’s Republican governor tweeted in early March that anyone who opposes a bill forbidding teachers from talking about gender identity or sexual orientation with students in early grades is “probably a groomer or at least you don’t denounce the grooming of 4-8 year old children.” A few days later, Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked on national television, “When did our public schools, any schools, become what are essentially grooming centers for gender identity radicals?”"

"And, speaking before the Tennessee House of Representatives in February, country music star John Rich compared librarians who allow children access to graphic books to sexual predators — adding he believes that there is “bona fide grooming taking place” in the state’s public schools.

"“What’s the difference between a teacher, educator or librarian … or a guy in a white van pulling up at the edge of school when school lets out?” he asked. Students “can run away from the guy in the white van.”"

If you actually had been a teacher, you would be as appalled by this disgusting and denigrating behavior as the rest of us are. Instead, you'll double down on your support for the attacks by the Reichwing on a once-honored-at-least-by-good-folks profession you pretend to have had.

Look up at the title of the thread you posted that question in. It reads, " Telling Gaystapo teachers..." Normally, I would have to go to another thread for an example, but it is right here in the title of the thread.

End of the day, we either believe that teachers are all pedophiles, or that one politician named DeSantis had sex with teenagers, and is trying to cover it up with insane allegations against all teachers.

Teachers are mostly good people, so I do not believe they are a bunch of pedophiles. DeSantis is slimy, so I tend to come down on him being the evil one in all this.

This vicious and disgusting trend wouldn't be so alarming if it was just DeSatan trying to paint teachers as "groomers" and "pedophiles." It's not. This is happening in almost every red state across the country. Here's a Missouri legislator taking down one of the haters over a rider to a pending bill having to do with voting. The (R) hater added the anti-trans rider on to pander to the haters. This hasn't to do with "grooming," but it is symptomatic of the promotion of prejudice, bigotry, fear, and hate the Republiqans are so eagerly promoting.

You know what motivates the left's burning desire to teach little children about gay sex, don't you?

The question before us is this: why does an entire political party want to promote adult-child discussions of a sexual nature in public schools without the consent or even notification of parents?

That is your opinion, but an awful lot of teachers disagree with you.

We have several teachers just on my side of the family -- daughter, son-in-law, niece, daughter-in-law. There are three more on Mr. Owl's side. His are very conservative, yet even they agree that this new (R) tactic of trying to make something nasty out of nothing is beyond the pale.

There are surprising numbers of very conservative teachers out there. That is what makes the alt right attacks on teachers all the stranger.

For decades teachers have struggled with being seen as the enemies by parents at times, with little to no support from their administrations. This latest insanity is codifying that into law. As I mentioned, above, even the conservative educators in our family do not want legislators passing laws dictating what they can discuss and what they cannot. Watch how many leave the profession once FL weaponizes this bill.

Telling Gaystapo teachers it is NOT "OK"
Sad but not unexpected that Trumpian cocksuckers would demonize teachers.

It's all part of the Alt-Right ideology to keep the public stupid and under their thumb. Pure authoritarian fear-mongering.

When the White Supremacist terrorist murder more Americans before the 2024 election, and probably even this summer, I hope Americans united to crush these anti-American traitors and terrorists.
