Televangelists 'defrauded tens of million of dollars from Christian network'

I read an article that said the church preached the "prosperity gospel"...that if people gave money to the church, God would reward them with increased wealth.

I think they may find that it is a bit difficult to try to punish them for buying buildings in the non-profit's name if that is the case.

Are there any of these TV evangelists than are not crooked? Whilst travelling around SE Asia last year those bastards seemed to be everywhere even in Saigon hotels.

I think it should be illegal to wear a suit like that while standing next to anybody who wears so much makeup it makes their face start to sag....

I am sure that they didn't tell their audience to give them money so that they could live high on the hog and treat their dogs better than many of their constituents.

I'm not sure about that. It would be evidence that God blessed them with wealth for their "sacrifices" in his name.
