Democrats, in contrast have never been able to ignore race. It was a convenient way to identify folks who they held as slaves, then a way to segregate themselves away from blacks, and now a way to court votes.

Unless you can provide examples where the black community support "thug" actions then youre talking a load of s@#$T. The minority community DIDNT embrace "Tookie's thug action" It was seeking clemency in consideration of his work as an anti-gang activist(specifically his efforts to bring an end to gang violence and his call for peace between gangs) So please understand WTF youre talking about..
 
Chicken's still on this straw man. No one said the black community supports thugs but that they don't manage the issue well. In my opinion its due to lack of male role models, especially single family households with women raising male children alone. Government handouts and liberal policies of making marriage and family unimportant are to blame.

I was responding to this quote from Tinfoil - "Minority community loves thugs. shall I find examples of minority community embracing thugs?" You're correct there is a problem in the community regarding minority male role models but I dont see anyone embracing the actions of thugs in it. Marriage and family are based on individual decisions.

No, I specifically said a group of urban teens . If I see a group of thuggish teens, I'll cross the street. I said nothing about every black person except that the black community tends to embrace thugs

Obviously he's a political figure so of course he's campaigning, or setting up his next one. Do you honestly think he's going to support Cain over The Obama in 2012?

You're getting off subject Here.(cool trick though) The point I was making is that Thug actions are not EMBRACED by black community. The community is actually stepping up to combat the problem an not -to take or receive gladly or eagerly-the problem.
