Ted Cruz endorses Donald Trump

I received a campaign envelope today with a priority cardboard return box in it, postage to be paid by the Trump Campaign. So, I tossed a penny into it, and dropped it into a mailbox while running errands. See? I can show my support for Douchebag Donald as well!!

He should have done it already. Either that or STFU. It's OK that he didn't endorse him, it was NOT ok to pull his convention BS.

Did not expect that. What the heck happened behind the scenes?

LOL, the man of principle.:rofl2: Insulted his wife, his dad & him......:palm: & then he endorses the pathological liar=the party of principle:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) college roommate explained the Tea Party lawmaker’s decision on Friday to endorse Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the Boston Globe reported.

While others were surprised that Cruz would back the GOP’s presidential nominee after calling him a “pathological liar” during the party primaries, Craig Mazin said, he was not. According to him, the key to understanding Cruz’s motivation is to start one’s every thought with the phrase, “I’m supposed to be president,” or ISTBP for short. Doing so meant getting into Cruz’s head.

“I apologize for that,” he wrote. “But hey, it’s not as bad as living with him.”

Mazin broke down his theory in a series of tweets, some of which can be seen below:

7) "ISTBP so even though I lost, I must present myself as the Trump alternative. I will be rewarded for pretending to have principles."

8) "ISTBP so I have to make sure I get re-elected to the Senate. My anti-Trump stand is now threatening that. I must endorse him."

Therefore, Mazin said, that Cruz would endorse the man who insulted his wife Heidi is not about principle, but about the “calculation” that he believes will eventually lead him to the presidency. However, he added:

@clmazin

11) Of course, his nature has blinded him to the truth: there's practically no one left for him to fool. Ted Cruz has defeated himself. /end

After concluding his explanation, though, Mazin couldn’t resist another jab at his former roommate:

Craig Mazin

@clmazin

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to be endorsed."

An endorsement of little, if any, consequence.

One hateful bigot endorsing another won’t garner for Trump the votes he needs to win; indeed, the endorsement will further drive those votes away from Trump.

It could have been worse Cruz, or Walker could have won the nomination. Both Baggers are worse than Trump.

Don't get me started on that Bagger Cruz, or Union Buster Koch Brother stooge Walker. Both would have been worse than Trump. Kasich is the obvious choice, he was a Governor with a solid record to run on. But the Baggers like that P.T Barnum routine Trump was offering.

the real reason is that if trump loses, cruz will be blamed big time by the new republican base for it. Trump stole cruz's deplorables. That's cruz's bread and butter. He wants them back in 2020. This way he gives a relatively meaningless late endorsement that wont do much, but if shit blows up cruz can say "hey I supported him"
