Or Denver will realize his receivers suck, and try to draft and acquire competent ones. Even with a lot of the random fuck-ups by the RBs and CBs, Tebow may have been able to win the last game if he just had competent receivers on the field.

Penn is considered one of the laziest fighters at his level. His pure talant is unquestioned, but he can be beaten by just such a guy as Edgar who does have heart.
 
Tebow is a very nice guy. I met him once, as one of my roommates is a close friend of his. I've never understood the hatred pouring out from the left. Personally I think he is a great role model for kids, but I guess liberals would prefer their kids be doing drugs, fucking each other, etc.

Tebows not the first scrambler I seen that came out of college with questionable passing skills. I seem to remember one Rodger Staubach who took about 3 years to learn how to throw and when he did he was one of the best but coming out of the military he was a pure scrambler and his passing was not impressive at all....but he still won games and that's what Mr. Tebow, and his team, have been doing. Johny Unita was another QB who's passing sucked so bad out of college he got cut by the team that drafted. He morphed into one of the best 3 QB's I've ever seen play the game. Tebow has the tools to learn to be a great passer but does he have the intangibles to be a great QB? I personally think he does. Time will tell. He's got a long way to go to the Hall of Fame.

What I've seen Tebow do in some games is run run run till the other teams defense is sucking wind and then he throws damned effectively. He doesn't have Fran Tarkentons bat like radar but he sure does remind me of Tarkenton. I used to love how Tarkenton would run sideline to sideline to sideline till a recievers got opened. He was the most feared QB by defensive lineman and LB's in his era cause he'd make them run till they puked.....and that was usually in the first quarter. Tebow is a unique talent and a good coach will create offensive strategies that will optimize those skills. I'm predicting Tebow's gonna defy both the critics and convention and be a star in this league for a long time to come.

That's because you read right wing bullshit that has you convinced that because people tease Tim that they hate him. Lighten up dude. He's a ballplayer not Jesus. If he can't take a razzing he's in the wrong business.

That's true and he uses his running skills to set up his passing game. Has anyone noticed that teams that aren't deep on the defensive line have a real tough time with Tebow?

At the QB position stats are for losers. The bottom line is winning and he has. I think he and Cam will be around a while.....though I thing both of them have been outplayed this year by Andy Dalton. He's won...and he's won both running the ball and throwing the ball and he's done it with THE BENGALS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its alright, I know you're an old phart. Seriously, though, you rant about the Browns so much I though you were a Browns fan. That's cool, though, because the Bengals seems to be growing and getting pretty good right now. They led a very tough division for more than half of the season.
