I have argued many times on here that Pol Pot was supported by the West and the UN and it took the Vietnamese to get rid of the evil bastard. The darkest period in Cambodia’s history was 1975-1979, when the communist Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot, terrorised the nation. Pol Pot and his cohorts, many of whom were educated in France and received training from the French Communist Party, boasted that they were influenced by Jean Paul Sartre’s doctrine of “necessary violence” and Jean Jacques Rousseau’s charge that the perfect state must “possess men and all their powers.”

I have been to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Pnom Penh and it's not for the faint hearted.

Nope. I popped some wine for Ted Kennedys death, and then mocked him for about 20 minutes in Arlington. Had I the need, I probably would have pissed on his grave while I was there, but I didn't feel like going back to my car for beer.

Oh, its not only the lefties. Remember it was the 'righties' in her own government that gave her the old heave-ho. True Brits were dancing within an hour of the announcement and a book has already been published in Liverpool, a city that she consciously tried to destroy.

Americans and the rest of the world saw the other side of her. A strong politician who was respected everywhere. At home she was responsible for more hardship, the generation of more hatred, than any leader in the nation's history.

I've never celebrated anyone's death, but there are some I can't feel any mourning or sadness over. There is a difference. And even if people do celebrate, so what? You know, you are going to die, and if your death makes someone happy you won't be around to see them gloating so who cares? A million can mourn you, it will not bring you back to life. As long as you have some who remember you with love and gratefulness that you were in their lives, the rest is bs. If I died tomorrow I don't know of anyone in real life who would even remotely feel happy about it. But I know there are a couple of people in cyberspace who would celebrate. Not with champagne of course, that is out of their league. They can afford to pop open a can of grape nehi though. And you know what, I will be dead and won't give a crap and someday, they will be dead too. I used to get upset at reactions like this, in fact when Reagan died and some liberals celebratory things, I asked them to stop and said it was distasteful. But I'm older now and I know it doesn't matter.
