Yeah, what a travesty that she took that failing British economy of 1979 and turned it around. She also should have just caved into Argentina, because the Falklands are a gross display of British imperialism. What a lousy PM she turned out to be. Why, if not for her, there may not have been a revived nation for the Reform to fuck over in more recent years!

For an intelligent person you can be so full of shit at times. Do you really think there would have been very many miners around when the Greenies and treehuggers had finished getting all the coal power stations closed down? Arthur Scargill was a cunt and the miners were unfortunate to have such a twat for a leader. As the Americans say, you really don't know shit from Shinola.

She wasn't all good by any means but her legacy is formidable and more importantly very little of what she did was reversed by Labour, especially the unions laws she introduced. I find attitudes like Lows to be totally despicable and infantile, but I am afraid there are many like him. Her warnings over Europe have all come to pass and I know that one of her deepest regrets was signing the Single European Act in 1986. I have never quite understood how Low is able to reconcile his socialist views with living in the most capitalistic city in the world bar none.

I was all prepared to lay a smack-down on LowIQ for this terrible thread. Then I read your post and remembered that I too cheered at Byrd's death, and when I heard that T. Kennedy died I immediately pulled my car over and sent a text to my sister in Mass. that said "Ted is dead".
